Pete the Cat is a fictional drawing cat, created by American artist James Dean. The series started with four books illustrated past Dean and with text by Eric Litwin. Since then, James Dean and his wife Kimberly Dean accept written and illustrated the series of books.

The first book,Pete the Cat: I Dearest My White Shoes, is the story of a cat whose white shoes get mucked upward past diverse substances he steps in, merely "Pete never loses his absurd." Written as a song, its refrain is "I dearest my white shoes", irresolute to "I love my red shoes", "I love my blue shoes", and "I love my brown shoes". Then he steps in a saucepan of water and the colors wash off, and they became moisture, simply still never loses his cool, he just sings his song.

Older students might notice that this tutorial includes a little perspective as Pete's shoes that are closer are larger that those on his back feet. Younger artists can focus on just making the shoes lucifer. As Pete would say, "Information technology's all good."

Materials for Cartoon Pete the Cat

  • Eraser. Large ones y'all can hold in your hand do a much better job than only the pencil tips.
  • Blackness Sharpie Marker. These fine point permanent marker pens make nice black outlines, have a skillful tip for coloring, and never drain when they get wet. Use them with good ventilation and add actress paper underneath to protect your tables.
  • Prang Crayons. These are a bit softer than other crayons so they sometimes look like oil pastels. They as well have a some nice brownish shades that Crayola does not accept unless you lot buy their larger boxes.
  • Crayola Crayons. The reliable brand that always works well. The 24 pack has some of my favorite gold orange and xanthous colors that seem a bit richer and warmer than the ones Prang has.
